Made the trip out to Tawakoni this past friday for only the second time. Caught bait on Lewisville the night before so we would be ready when we hit the water. We were in our first spot by 7am and about 10 minutes in we got our first fish at 25#. The first spot produced 6 fish and the smallest was 8.5#. Finished the day with 17 fish, 7 over 10#, and the biggest was 42#. Caught quailty fish in all depths from 12'-30' using large gizzard shad . Best day of fishing in a while, and I can't wait to get back out there.

congrats on the catch and nice report

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Nice fish. Good job.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.
