Love to have a Quantum Smoke or one of the new Speed Spools in that price range.

Daiwa is just as good as shimano and way better than abu its japanese and is all about quality. Heck they won three classics in a row with the tdx line. The steez and zillion suffer to no one and my zillions are way better than the cores. The core is not as smooth has a lot more play in the handle no click on the spool knob and cost 90 dollars more.

I understand that the zillion and steez are good reels, but they don't sell for 150-200 either. And yes I realize the zillion can be found eBay for less tha 200, but xyz reel that already retail for less can be found for less as well.

Daiwa seems to have thrown in the towel at this price point.
