I went fishing over the Christmas holidays with a guy on the Tenn-Tom waterway in Mississippi. He had a tag or sticker which cost $30/year that allowed him to launch on any of the several lakes in that chain at no additional cost at the ramp. Does the COE on LOP offer something similar?

it'a an annual pass. Any COE should honor it and have them. I got mine at Lake Waco and have used it at Granger and Navarro Mills.

Yes the COE does sell an annual permit to enter day use areas....ie: boat ramps. You can get the permits at the gate guard house.

Yep. Go to Johnson creek park station and they will sell you one for 30 or so bucks. FYI, I found out that you can pull the parking tag off one of the envelopes and put it on your dash without paying cause the park ranger just checks for the tag and someone else picks up the money box. I buy a annual tag.
