Anyone go out yesterday? Im headed out about lunch to try my luck

Be there the 25th thru the 27th. You guys that are down there this weekend stir them up for me. Gonna be in 60's & 70's all week.

Headed out the 27 and will be there until the 6th with the group around site 15. Looks like a great year other than fire bans. Thanks for the updates, I'll get a report up when I get back.

Any one catch white bass today at the bend?

I thought I'd be there this weekend. But then I realized my wife said... Big Bend Natl Park TX, not Bend Tx. My bad. Maybe next weekend then?

1 LMB yesterday and that was it. I did see a few folks that were catching a few. I think the most I saw on a stringer was about 5-6.

It was slow, but folks was still enjoying the Bend.

Ahh!!!!!! Its driving me crazy.....26 days till my weeks vacation. One thing i can promise you. There will be a blizard march 19-25!!!!!

Yea it was a slow weekend. Only caught 4 whites and 2 crappie on Friday. Sat was a litte better with 10 whites caught. Ended up averaging a fish an hour but got plenty of exercise. By the time the battery on my ff/gps died I had covered 12.3 miles over the 2 days. Still fished another 2 hours after.

I did not see any report Sunday morning. So, I decided to drive to the Bend with my wife and a friend. We fished from the bank about an hour did not catch any thing. We saw people on boats near by the cliff catching almost every cast. That was around 2pm.

So, we decided to slip in the wadding and walk 1/2 way in the river. By 6pm both my friend and I, each caught 8 whites. Mostly male may be one or two female.

My wife did not have a wadding. And she did not get any.

We did not catch that many but we had a good time.

Look like white bass is running... Today may be a good day as the temp may get into the lower 80s.

i'm having a replay of last year where i catch every fish the colorado has to offer but white bass. i caught 5 lmb's and a drum.my buddy caught 5 whites.

I was catching a lot of drum last year but the trick is to get your lure off the bottom.

Going this weekend but just called the ranger station and they said the boat ramp was closed at the State Park. Anybody try navigating up from the main lake? Just wondering how much water is over the sand bar.

Boat ramp was open this past weekend but you can't launch any big boats. Biggest boat I saw was a 16' alum bass boat and that was pushing it.
