If you remember what happened in 01 well it has started all over again..There are dead fish everywhere..I don't remember the last fishkill there being so many huge yellowcats and huge crappie being dead..They say bass sink to the bottom so I can only imagine..And to the guy at the downtown ramp with the wrap and duel power poles that was an a$$hole I'm glad you didn't catch a fish..I will put in and find out for myself..

KingWood its another round of Golden Algae. We go through it once a year down here in varying levels but it looks like with this year's intense winter weather that it is going to be a bad kill again. What has me worried is that we are getting close to the spawn for bass and this stuff is still running rampant.

Actually that's what I meant, must have had a brain fart. Its the limestone in the water. That whole Brazos system has a problem, but I thought it was more prevalent when the water was warm.

Cborden your right its real bad. Got to figure out another lake to fish near by. Going to go up river on Granbury and see what its like on saturday. Anyone been up their latley, if so let me know so I wont wast my time.

prior to this bloom, i fished in the river and the water was cleaner looking but fishing was poor.
