You have coverage on most of the lake as well as data. I use to get nailed with roaming from Mexican towers. I have actually called from Mexico and been on ATT. Hope this helps

got back from down there about 3 weeks ago and had coverage everywhere we fished. made sure to put my phone on "airplane" mode when we went into mexico though.

I have AT&T and went last year. Coverage was good.

I had better reception down there even in mexico side than I do here at my house most of the time.

ATT is great down there. If you get charged roaming fees when your phone jumps to a Mexico tower, just call ATT and they will reverse the fees no problem. Same at Amistad.
