Well guys, I dont really know where to start. I bass fish the crud out of fayette but have yet to even chase the cats. I hear reports that it can be hit and miss. Thing is, I dont even know where to start fishing at. I heard the intake, discharge, and dam can produce. Are they fishing deep or shallow? Next to rocks? I honestly have no clue where to begin. Is there anybody that might be able to steer me in the right direction. Thanks for everybodys help!

Contact Weldon Kirk. He goes by the name Obiwan on here. He's a guide for catfish out there and he probably knows those fish by name.

If anyone can show you the catfish ropes out there, it's him.

The fish on Fayette are getting real heavy with eggs, so they will be moving out in the timber shallows soon, rocks, intake, discharge are pretty good, but will soon be too hot in those areas, it usually gets to about 95 degrees near the discharge by mid March. Fish have been being 8-12 foot deep lately. Good Luck

There is a rock wall on the left side of the discharge. Along that wall about 1/2 way between the marker and the bank on the bottom. Another good place has always been the 70 degree water line in the discharge/lake.

I need to change my password.

I know the lake very well, thank for your help. I'll be launching the boat soon!
