Ok havnt really experienced with many fishing lines. I use trilene smooth cast and I LOVE it. I never back lash and it cast very well. I have been wanting to try flourocarbon, is it better than mono and does it cast well? what are the pros and cons of flouro? or braid? havnt used that either. thanks in advance.

Flouro is not for those lacking in experience. For that matter, flouro isn't for guys who've been fishing for a long time, but only a couple times a month. Ya really got to work with it and get used to it. And, it's pretty expensive. My advise would be to get some copolymer. Copolymer is a hybrid between mono and flouro. I think most of them are mono core and flouro coating on the outside. Silver Thread works great for me. Copolymers are more manageable than flouro, and have more "feel" than mono. Copolymers are less expensive also. Hope this helps. Plenty of guys here to help ya and give their experience with all types of lines.

No reason to change if it is working for you.

Berkley's Trilene TransOptic is a nylon co-polymer monofilament line with color-changing technology that allows it to change from hi-vis gold above the water to clear below the water

This is what I use love for all fishing and really good for wacky rig

I've been fishing quite a long time and for mono, i'm a big fan of trilene XL for the majority of freshwater applications. I also like trilene big game but it has alot of memory.

I also fish braid, love power pro, especailly the 65lb test

Stick with what you like or try Berkley Big Game if you wanna change.

There is no such thing as "too much" fishing.
