Any of yall ever fished it? We are gonna go hit up the casino on Saturday, and I always see people fishing the river from the bank, and I'm thinking about giving it a try. I just never knew if they were catfishing or fishing for stripper... or if they were using shad, punch bait, or what.
We'll either be going up 35 or 75.

I've fished the Red east of the damn more than the first half of my life but it's been 10 years since I've fished it.

How was it when you fished it? Did you catch more cats or bass?

Bass but that is what I was targeting. You don't catch that many cats on striper lures... Every now and then cause cats will bite anything once in awhile.

We used to catch a lot of flatheads on the red but that was west of 35 over by 44. And we were noodling.
