I have a LMS-3000 mount for my 520c and a LMS-4000 replacement antenna coming from lowrance. Will the 4000 antenna fit on the 3000 mount?

Just take the 3000 mount off and the 4000 has holes in the top of the antenna for two screws ... holes don't match 3000 mount but is large enough to hide holes if mounted over existing location....hope this makes since....good thing is you don't need to buy any thing else to mount it.

Thanks!! I was worried about covering the existing holes if it didn't use the same mount.

You do know that you will have to get a nmea network starter kit (124-69) kit for the 4000.

Seriously?? Why wouldn't the lowrance sales rep say something? They knew I was replacing a 3000 and even took my old serial number.

You don't need the starter kit, your network is already powered by the 520. Disregard Bernie's comments.

Fixed no problems... No adapter nor kit needed!! It did act weird on the water, the arrow wouldn't point the right direction, kept 'flip'ping different directions. Any ideas??
