Has any one had motor repair by Joe Don Grimes in Crowley? I have a friend who has recommened him just looking for more info.

I have been using Joe Don for a about 2 1/2 years now. He has always done excellent work for me. I had a '79 Evinrude that he did a lot of work on for me, still running strong when I sold that boat. I have a Force 125 that he has done work on also - power pack, stator, water pump, etc. Also installed a CMC tilt/trim unit to replace the worn out factory original. He rebuilt a trailer for me and has done quite a bit of work on my persent boat - 18' center console. He stands behind his work - had a couple of warranty issues and he spent a lot of time contacting vendors to get them resolved. In addition to doing good work, he is willing to share his knowledge with you. I learned a lot about live wells, general boat plumbing and electrical from Joe Don. His pricing is reasonable. I would recommend him for any boating work.
