As my boat project it dang near done I will be ready to hit the lake in a couple weeks. Right now I can't afford a high dollar fish finder. What is the cheapest option to show my mhp while drifting? Cheapest being under say $200.00

I have 2 GPS units you can HAVE it you want them jsut come get them! fair warning they are old units, one for aviation and the other for street navigation. Last they had batteries in them they worked. Free, jsut pm me and let me know if you want em. I live near the NE mall in Hurst.
Also, I bought a small Garmin GPS for 80.00 a while back.. it was "big watch" sized and waterproof... I would tuck it under my wetsuit wwhen I woudl go Kitesurfing. I have it somewhere but its broken, if I can find it you can have it too... LOL

If you can find a Lowrance H2O for sale used they go for about $75 bucks with the navonics chip in them. I think they are the best handheld GPS going for fishermen.

Or one of the old Garmin Etrex yellow units that sold new for $100 10 years ago.
They can be picked up for 20-60 bucks on ebay.
They have no maps, but the MPH is perfect, and the waypoints and breadcrumbs work great.
For that matter, if you want to make it to DFW, I have one you can have for free.

I have a trolling speedo I bought on clearance I don't need! Pm if interested.
One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!
