Winchesters doesn't have any fishing stuff anymore. A buddy of mine was talking to me this weekend about how long Academy has been out of line. It's pretty pathetic. Worst case scenario order from Tackle Warehouse and pay no tax or shipping. Not hard to spend $50 on fluorocarbon.

Before long all you'll see in Academy is H2O Express stuff. That appears to be the direction they are headed.
I've been in a lot of Academy's, but the one in Longview has to be the worst.

You'll have better sucess if you just order from www.tacklewarehouse.com or some other on the web tackle store. I do 90% of my buying on the internet due to Acadmey not having or being out of stock on things i need. i usually get my order from Tackewarehouse in 2 days, and the other tackle companies are also good about getting your order to you quick, it's just i buy mostly from TWH. If you need it for this weekend i belive they have a one day shipping, cost you a little extra or you could drive to Shreveport and get some Invis or the XPS is as good also. Hope this helps.

I gave up on longview Academey. A long time ago. Now I just drive to bossier every other week. Walmart does have berkely 100%, but nothing bigger than 12lb.
