Where can I get some rod holders to use while bank fishing?
I know basspro has them, but is there anywhere to order them online?
Thanks

Or you can make some with some 1-1/2" PVC pipe, some scraps of Rebar or other steel rods, some wire and/or duct tape.
Bank Angler Fishing for them all! John this is a subliminal message, take Kristy to the coast!

Academy also has a black plastic pipe with aluminum stand holder. They are pretty good.

All of the above suggestions have their strengths and weaknesses. You really need to consider where you're going to fish:
(1) If the bank is sandy, you can use a piece of PVC pipe with one end cut at an angle, like some surf fishermen do.
(2) If they soil is hard or rocky, it's going to be difficult to push a large plastic pipe into the ground; this is where something stronger, with a heavy-duty spike, would work well.
(3) If the ground is too rocky, or is indeed solid rock, you need a rod holder that sits on the ground and is help in place by gravity -- perhaps the "Bee Ready" holder, or something similar.

You can order all types of rod holders from Cabelas both on line or take a trip out to their New store.
