Get some Rockport Rattler jigs at Rockport Tackle Town and put some Norton Sand Eels on them - Glow Firetail.
I use those when I stay on the water and fish the piers.
Wading put some TTK plum, red shad or rootbeer on those rattling jigs.

Hi Texas Slam, I will mostly be fishing on a pier. I don't have gears to wade and the water might still be too cold. I'll check out the "Rockport Rattler Jigs". BTW, what is that bait mainly aim for? Thanks!
Good Fishing!!

Fishing under the lights on the pier.
Cheapy Spec Rigs from Walmart (.99) the ones that look like glass minnows, MirrOlure 19MR in Silver Luminescence, Yo-Zure 3D Minnow in Clear, Strike King 3X Plastic in Pearl rigged with an offset worm hook, DOA Shrimp in Nite Glow or Gold Glitter.

Dang - you don't need to buy the whole tackle shop, LOL !
Rockport Rattler makes a GLOW jig that is badazzz to use on piers. It works good outside the parameters of the lights.

It's just 5 lures, nothing wrong with that. Those 5 will cover the entire basis for fishing under the lights, from small glass minnows to shad to shrimp.

Where do you fish for walleyes near Rockport. I come down about one a month and would like to try to catch some walleyes. Never fished for them. Thanks, Jerry

Neumie doesn't know where to catch Walleye ? The sky must be falling. Having fishing buds in Wyoming ... Priceless.

Yeah, whatever ...
... the History of your recent posts here on TFF, - definitely explains your admission of lack of fishing knowledge.

I've spent a lot of time on the water, mainly in the Corpus-Rockport area, so I'll always chime in when questions are brought up about those waters. Am I always right, heck no. However, I'm going to answer those who incline about the area honestly. It's easy to list off lures we have built trust in, but the best thing we can offer to these questions is our experience. An in my experience under the lights of most piers the lures I mention previously will lead to me getting a consistent bite.
