I work them differently than anyone has stated yet. I like to work them like a fluke and skip them underneath boatdocks and throw them on bare banks stuff like that.

i LOVE throwing weightless senko style (stick) baits. as with many baits, there are various retrieves that may or may not work any given day.
I prefer like many above, cast.. let sink.. maybe one twitch. then re-cast.
when I first started using these, footandahalf and I were on cypress springs catching VERY active fish, so we felt most of the bites. However, on one cast.. i cast out and then began removing a professional overrun (Scottie had never seen one and asked me to demonstrate).. as soon as I got it picked out, I looked back at my line and it was 10 yards away from where I had initially cast. WHAM.. set the hook on a big 6.
very versatile baits.
I also like LFT's Hyperstick, fished the same way. great stuff.

Really the Senko is often overfished in my opinion.
Just let the Senko work itself

WEightless Senko is a great bait. I fish my texas rigged and will cast it out, let is sink, and slowly twitch it back to the boat, pausing several times in between and letting bait sink.
Caught many a fish on them. I like the 6 in stick-o-baits at BPS. I've never used to the real senkos (too expensive) but those BPS ones have caught A LOT of fish.

You might also try one with a falcon 1/32 weighted hook. It gives the appearance of the lure swimming.

For those of you Texas rigging, check out the new Texas Rig Hitch from Hitch Series. This keeper pins your senko to the hook, not letting it slip down the hook or up the line. I've been getting A LOT more life out of each bait.

Weightless Senkos are my favorite bait by far. I like to fish them Texas rigged head first. Then when that side gets wore out I turn em around and Texas rig em by the tail end and when that gets wore out I save em for the Wacky Rig bite. Caught my top two PB's on them and the bass dont seem to care how tore up they are.

I like Cabelas aquaglo sticks. The 6" is good for c-rigging as well as t-rigged. They're pretty inexpensive, so don't expect them to be durable.
