I have a nice little cove picked out, it's about 15-18 ft deep, not real wide, no other structure, and first get any traffic...what do you think? Any better ideas? I just didn't want to put them somewhere obvious so everyone else can fish them dry.....

That's exactly the kind of spot I'd put em in for sure. Out toward the mouth of the cove. Might try to tie in some horizontal pieces too, just before u sink em. Then let me know where they are! Lol

Those look great. Only thing wrong is the $$s they cost. Next time look around for a building site. You can find good Crappie Condo makins they will give you, lots of scraps available.

Drill a couple of holes in the bottom of each pvc. Otherwise they tend to float for a while. Yup, I learned the hard way.
Oh, mine have produced some nice slabs for a few years now.

Drilling lots of holes will help the sinking process too. It will settle in and stay put better as the water fills the holes

Plumbing and lawn sprinkler supply companys are a good source for pvc. They usually have joints of pipe with broken ends they cant sell for full price. Sprinkler suppliers also offer pipe with a thinner wall for alot less $ than schedule 40. Please dont gather it from job sites without permission. As a builder, I see alot of material disappear even though it was laying around like we didnt need it.

That should work great. Iv heard if you go to the trouble sand the pipes to make them rougher it helps vegetation grow on them faster and better.
