I have relatives coming to town for several days the next week. My Dad love fishing. Where do you suggest I should take him to fish? I am interested in mostly likes like Lavon, Lewisvile, Grapevine, even Ray Robert.
We like crappie, sandies, even brims.

Thanks.

I fish Lewisville almost every morning. I mainly go after sandies. It's been a little slow lately, but I still manage to land about eight good size fish in about an hour and a half. It was much better last week. So, you will catch fish in Lewisville, but a little slow.

Would you give a little detail or advice about where/when/how to fish sandies in Lake Lewislle?
(How early i the morning?) (baits?) (any park or points?)
Any specifics about fishing pattern will help us.

Okay, I went this morning again and landed 15 very good size sandies and a buffalo carp in about an hour. Because I have to work everyday, I usually start fishing around 6:30 am and stop fishing around 7:30 or 8 am. Not sure how well they bite after that. I do know though that if you fish in the evening, the fish will be there too. I use to stand on the bank and fish, but since it's too crowded now, I'm standing in about three feet of water and fish with a jig. The park is next to lake view marina, you can't miss it. When you get there, you will see the cars and people. Use shad or ghost minnows.

Good luck,

James

Yep! you have found the place. Sorry I didn't get a chance to reply earlier, just don't get online too often. I fished this morning, but didn't do that well. I fished for about 30 minutes in the morning and caught three sandies, only one was a keeper. Good luck.
