Other than running thru the East lock, is there another way to get there?? Any Ramp upstream on the Colorado River? Are they ever gonna reopen Parkers Cut?? How do you know the lock will be open?

There are ramps in Palacios, Port Lavaca. and Port O'connor.

Hmmmm...should have mentioned the boat. It's a 15ft flatbottom with a 20 horse tiller. I'm kinda slow but it's OK....I'm OLD TOO!!!

There's a crappy ramp in Keller Bay also, little more protected for your iron rig.
