http://www.walmart.com/ip/Whitmor-Collapsible-Laundry-Hamper/9720304I got one of these things at Wal Mart today for 7.50, 18" dia & 24 " tall & it collapses flat, with a lilttle weight in the bottom it makes a great stripping basket (I take one with me to the nudie bar & let the ladies throw their clothes in it)

Have you tried it on the water yet?
My concern is how well it works in the wind. It just looks like any wind would cause the basket to collapsible.

I haven't tried it yet, but having read about using them but unable to obtain one, I was happy to see it, yea, they are s'posed to be tippy but a circle of 1/2 plywood the same diameter makes a good ballast & still collapses.

I've got one just like that and just never got around to cutting the plywood for the bottom. It works really well when I take the time to get it out and use it. It's indispensable when I'm "casting" my T-17 shooting head line.

This is also great for fly fishing the jetties. If you don't want to use plywood use a wet towel,it works.

This unit from Walgreens is only 13" tall. Might be better than the tubular model. Just toss in that spare seat cushion to keep it put.

This is also great for fly fishing the jetties. If you don't want to use plywood use a wet towel,it works. For the jetties use a Mangrove Hip Shooter.. The best shooting basket that I've seen. If ya' try it for 20 minutes, you'll have to have one.
