Will be spending spring break on Lake Tawakoni this year fishing for catfish, stripers, and hybrids instead of going to Lake Fork this time. Where are the best campgrounds for a 5th wheel that are also close to good catfish/striper/hybrids spots since the wind gets up? Prefer the campsite to be by a sandy shore so we can leave the pontoon in the water overnight. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as well as nightly costs please. Will be needing electricity.
If there is affordable lodging close...say in the 40 dollar a night range with running water... and anemieties, please mention those too ( a place kinda like Sportsman Lodge at Fork).
Thanks in advance for all replies.

I can't answer all of that, but, Windpiont Park sounds like the best bet considering most of the conditions you layed out.

+100 on Wind Point Park. Best all around fishing spot too.Not real close to the Hybrid/Striper spots but smack in the middle of big Cat territory.
