Sounds good! Any entry fee or just bragging rights?
I tweaked the rules a little this year. I changed the first tiebreaker. Also, since hybrids are so tough to measure when first caught, I dropped the requirement to measure with the mouth closed.
Pay close attention to rule #4, especially the last line of the first paragraph. Last time I ran this in 2009, there were several who didn't pay.
I have a list.
Looking forward to a good hybrid catching spring!!!!

Tiebreakers:
1st tiebreaker will be latest date caught. The last fish wins the tiebreaker. 2nd tiebreaker will be number of fish entered. The person with the fewest entered fish will win the tiebreaker. If still tied, prizes from both places will be split.
Only one winning fish per entrant. You can enter as many fish as you like. Your last entered fish takes the place on the leaderboard of your previous fish.
5. Entered fish are determined by LENGTH only.
6. The person who CAUGHT the fish must be entered so be sure to enter your family members and/or fishing partners.
7. Length verification will be by personal witness by the tournament committee. If fish are not personally witnessed by a committee member or for folks who might fish alone or choose to release their catch, verification will be by a photograph on a ruler. Preferably on an 'official' measuring device such as a "Golden Rule". Cooler tops are not the best rulers. Unofficial measuring devices will be verified. Dont lose your yardstick after you take the pic. Include a newspaper dated after Feb 18, 2011 in the pic for date verification.
Please take care when releasing fish. Don't waste too much time with the pic.
Fish will be measured to the last quarter inch. This means that a 21 15/16 fish is 21 and ties with a fish measuring 21 . The tournament committee will be available at most normal hours for eyewitness verification. Call at 770-9446.

Use these guidelines to measure fish correctly (total length):
1. Place the fish on its side with the jaw open.
2. Squeeze the tail fin together or turn it in a way to obtain the maximum overall length.
3. Measure a straight line from the tip of the snout to the extreme tip of the tail fin.
