Anyone been out there lately? I'm thinking about heading out there this weekend and was wondering if anyone had any tips.
Thanks!

I would concentrate on the North Banks, in East/West arms/pockets. Water should be warmer there. Look for some kind of rock. Doesn't have to be big rocks either. Red trap and a suspending jerkbait. Points and secondary points are good too.

Thanks Dannie. My dad and I are trying to figure out a date to take a trip with you. I appreciate the advice.

I have been on two trips with Dannie. You won't regret booking a trip with him. He is a great guide and worth every penny!

Caught a few good fish yesterday in 10-12ft of water. Water temp was 39.6 degrees...it just got heavy never felt a bite. Black/Blue Football Jig. They both had a full belly of eggs and looked like the came out of deep water since they were so white.

Points and secondary points are good too. Do what he says....it works!! Caught yesterday, redeye shad in a red craw pattern on a rocky, wind-blown, main-lake point up north of Jordan Park. Thank you so much for the tips!!
