I am looking to make a change in the line I am using. I have been using the same line for years and for what ever reason, this year seems to be giving me some issues. Any suggestions on line types or specific brands to look at. The line I am looking to replace is a copolymer. Thanks ahead of time.

How old is the line that's giving you issues? Where have you been storing your stuff? What kind of issues?

brand new line, seems to have a lot of memory, and it does not seem to cast as smooth. I just re worked my reels and have not had any issues prior to putting new line on the reels. As far as storage, they are kept inside.

I like P-line CX Premium. It is a copolymer but it has an outer coating of fluorocarbon for lower visibility. Using KVD line/lure conditioner makes it handle even better. If you're talking about spinning reels, don't go too heavy on the line and leave at least 1/8 inch clearance below the spool.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.
