1 fish on caddo for 4.5lbs. Game warden said 25 other boats had zero bites about 4 when we got checked

We had 21 boats in our tournament on Ray Hubbard today and 15 fish were caught. I zeroed, but luckily my partner caught a big one that got us in the money. Water temps between 36 and 43 all day. Tough!

3 crappie and 1 follow. Does that count? The bass that followed looked like it would have gone at least a pound. Maybe even 1.2 pounds on the right scales.

I caught 5 out of the same boat! I wouldn't be so fast to let your skills of the hook just yet. Triple grips baby!

The 5 I caught only 2 were in the mouth, the other 3 were snagged in the side, I can see how KVD snagged so many in the classic last year, those hooks are killer.

Unfortunately, no. I've got 2 guys going with me. Maybe we can hook up next time.

Well, it's 20 degrees warmer this a.m. than it was this time yesterday, and supposed to get into the the mid-upper 70's. Heading to Ivie here shortly. Hopefully all the posters on here yesterday can put this thread to bed today. Good luck.

My partner and I managed only 1 small fish yesterday.Had us doubting our skills. But as he said, " In a month or so when the bite turns on we will all think we have this fishing thing all figured out and we will think we are pros for a couple of months and then in July we will become dumb again."

Also Skunked on Waco yesterday, went out from 1130 to about 4. Had a couple bites, but no fish in the boat. We threw jigs and crankbaits around Ridgewood, fished the old dam, and into the cove under Lakeshore bridge. Water temps were 41 when we got in the lake 45 was the warmest temps we found. Going back out Monday, hopefully they will be biting by then!

We had a small club tourny on Martin Creek. Wt temp at hot side 74 and out of 12 anglers 3 limits and 5 "0s" We all caught some small fish 13.5" or less. There were about 50 to 75 boats on that small lake. Poormans tourny and a few others. It took over a hour to load the boat. Ramp conditions with low water is bad there.

I got a bream on a rattle trap ripping in the grass and hooked the bream in the belly. Zeroed on bass in small pond in Georgia.
