Our first tournament will be Sunday, February 20, 2011 on Lake Limestone. We are staying at The Express Inn (formerly Limestone Inn) at 302 S. Ellis in Groesbeck, Texas. You can call 254-729-3017 to make your reservations. Room rate is $49 + tax. Tell them you are with the Metroplex Bass Club.
Looks like we are going to have several new members join at this tournament. If the weather forecast holds true, we should have a good turnout. Hope you can make it.
Sunrise is around 7:15 so first cast will be 6:45 a.m. and weigh in will be 3:00 p.m. Remember, you have to be in line with your fish at 3:00 or you will NOT be allowed to weigh in. We will be on the ramp for sign ups and live well checks from 5:30 6:30 a.m.

Fun-n-Sun Boating Center has invited us to have a club meeting at their facilities on March 10th from 6:00 7:30 p.m. We are lining up a speaker to talk to our group. There will be finger foods, drinks and door prizes for you to enjoy. Fun-n-Sun has a huge tackle shop as well as many great deals on new boats. They also sell parts and have a great repair center.
This is a fantastic way to increase our membership so we hope you can all be there.
