Hello. I am visiting my sister in garland next week. I LOVE fishing and do it alot. They have a little bass boat that they never use and she said i could take it out onto Lake Ray Hubbard. Appearently that is the closest lake. I know of lake fork but i wont have time to drive there. I guess i am wondering how you guys are catching them on Lake Ray Hubbard right now. I understand if you dont want to tell me becuase she said tournamnets are pretty big down there. If you wouldnt mind though i would like some info. I am from kansas and i dont know if fishing is any different down there than up here. any tips on baits or some general areas on the lake to fish would be greatly appreciated as i am only going to go out on the lake once or twice so i wont have time to figure them out. My sisters husband said that this would be the place to ask. Thanks!

Good luck man. I hope you have a lot better luck than I do. Fishing in Texas is way different.

WOW that is desperate!!! Attention to detail..The mark of a great con! All that to get some help for your RHBC tournament on Hubbard Saturday. Your SISTER just happened to know tournaments were big on the lake? And trying to throw the thing about the stumps in!? Ha. Did your sister know that too? Cuz no one mentioned it here, and the guy who pmed you didn't or you would have known which side. I almost feel for you enough to help you, LOL!

Do yourself a favor and take the time to drive to Fork. Its only an hour and 20 minutes from Ray Hubbard and if I were coming all the way here from Kansas to fish I would find a way to get to Fork!!

Rocks along 30 can be productive year round, marina fishing is also a decent bet. I've not been on the lake in quite some time, but those are typically some great starting points
