And only when my wife isn't home. This is our 10 foot long dinner table  This give's you a little insight into the clutter in my office and my mind.

Whats real fun is when your wife cleans the table off by pushing everything you had out to tie with into a box for you to sort out later.

Whats real fun is when your wife cleans the table off by pushing everything you had out to tie with into a box for you to sort out later. As long as the "box" isn't tall, with a plastic liner that gets set out by the curb, I'm ok with that.

My wife finally gave up and gave me my "own" room to play in. Cool. Stereo for the Lynard Skynard, little frig for the beer...and I've taught her NOT to clean in there!!!!! But - thou shalt not let cats into the fly tying room.
In this life there is fly fishing and tying...and then there is all that other stuff in between that doesn't matter.

So much for the image of the fly tier in his comfortably dark paneled den listening to Bach while sitting in his fine leather chair taking sips of a fine cognac in between tying tiny exact replicas of specific insects for a specific day on a specific part of a specific river. Turn it up.  Oh, and when you want to tie something a bit more introspective, like a Diving Toilet Seat:
