1 Nitro lover here. I currently own a 2008 Nitro 929 CDX. I have had 3 different Nitro boats since 2002. Never had a problem with any of them, obviously that's why I keep going back. It sounds like the frustrations you are having with your Nitro is the company not compensating you for something that is obviously their problem and not yours. I am sure if you press them they would take care of it, it's the right thing to do. I want to see the outcome of this, because when it is time for me to trade my current boat in for a new one, and they don't fix this for you, I will shop elsewhere other than Nitro. This could be a huge hit for Tracker Marine, or a feel good story. You would think it would be in their best interest to make this right. Good luck to you.

I think the potential "feel good story" part is long gone. At this point I think it would be a merciful plea on Nitro's part to stop the hemmoraging.

When this first happened, I felt that for sure they would help out as it was obviously a manufacturer defect. I strongly felt they would not want the bad press out of this. However, I guess they felt like making a third titled owner happy was not worth it. I can understand if I was wanting something unreasonable, but all I wanted was a fair resolution to this matter.

I am no expert and think Nitro should look into more after reading thru all this. But I would lean more on what a man that does this for a living seems to think it is. Heck this stuff could happen to any brand of boat made. Nitro makes good ones and bad ones too I understand that. But the pics showed something to a man that sees stuff like this alot more than all of us. Just my opinion. Hope it all works out for you.

Let talk facts.
The boat has no impact that would have cause this to happen? correct
The fiberglass comp will testify to that. And testify that it's poor craftsman ship or fiberglass work. Correct.
The money you won and spent on another boat would have got a great lawyer. Correct.
So don't take no for an answer and at least they need to give you a new hull and transfer the parts. I found hulls for around $7,000 two years ago for a buddy of mine.
Good luck on this man. And if you need me to call I don't mind making people cry.

I have 1986 Nitro with a 150 Yamaha ProV. This one is before they were bought out by BPS. If or when I replace it then I will go back to a Skeeter like my previous four boats.
Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

With pics like that, the experience you have had and since youre still possession of the actual boat, climb the chain of command of the manufacturer. There is no way any responsible company would not want to address an issue like that. The liability alone from something like that would wipe a company out. Say another boat did the same thing, say it had a some kids in it, say they wasnt as lucky as you were. How many millions you think the lawsuit would be for? Then there could even be punitive damages on top of that.
Try to solve it yourself with the company to your satisfaction, if youre not successful, hire an attorney.
