All the boat manufactures have problem. I very good friend of mine that keeps his boats immaculate. He had an 05 Puma with 275 Verado. He had the boat in getting service work and they noticed the back end cracking. They told him need to get with Basscat to get it fixed. He took his boat to Ark to have it looked at. It took them several months before they even gave him an answer. Of course they told him they were not going to fix. Needless he had to claim it through his insurance. Good thing his insurance company covered manufacture defects.

Seems like i remember hearing something like this happening to KVD a couple of years back. I hope you do share this post with the bassboat central boards and others. I cant imagine any other manufactures not takink care of a defect like hat. Did Tracker actually say it is a defect? Yep about 2-3 years ago on the cal. delta. KVD said he "HIT" something and the hull delaminated, now I wonder if that "HIT" was a cover up for a poor hull. Sorry for your loss, hope it works out.

That was one of the major issues with the Verado on Bass Boats I am sure of it...weight.

Problem is he had a hand written note from the owner talking about what a great combination he had bought and that he was going to love it. Deal is they should have still stood behind it even it was the motor that caused the problem. He called them to talk to them before he bought to make sure he was not going to have problems. Sure enough he did and they didn't stand behind it.

Wheres all the nitro lovers tonight?Over the last few years customer service has really been lacking a lot for BPS.I respect Johnny Morris but I cant help but wonder if bankruptcy isnt knocking at the door. As a Nitro owner I hate to hear this. I sincerely hope Tracker pulls their head out and makes things right for you Matt. I know of two guys who had problems with their boats, one here in Houston and one in Louisiana, both were taken care of. The pile of poo they are throwing you about number of owners is unacceptable, it is a 2008 for gosh sakes, same year as my Z7. Good luck.

Several months before he heard anything (half a year maybe?)? Just left him hanging I guess with no one to answer his questions. Sure sounds like a 40 year family owned business with a reputation for 1st class customer service. Then I guess they told him to get his butt back up to Arkansas and get the piece of junk of their property.

I have a similar story - although it is with Bass Cat. I purchased a new Puma in 2005 with a 275 Verado. I called Ron/Rick to make sure this boat was the next best thing, and they assured me it was. Lifetime transferrable warranty!
After 200 hours, the boat started cracking, in the transfom area. My boat was at Bass Cat for 4 months before they told me it was all cosmetic. I had to drive to Mountain Home in November to get my boat. Horrible customer service. The Lifetime warranty they speak about does not exist. I would never buy a bass cat again. true story!

First thing is to EMAIL THIS ENTIRE POST TO EVERY CONTACT YOU HAVE AT BPS!! Second is to get an attorney involved. I have always said Tracker/Nitro builds cheap junk for boats. Not only do they build junk boats, but there products are WAY overpriced. I go look around at BPS, but buy all of my gear elsewhere. Sorry about your luck man!

Several members have said that they can provide some contact to higher level contacts at Tracker. A couple are looking into it tomorrow. I will forward this to Tracker on Monday when I get back from Everstart.

Good luck in your tournament. There is right and wrong, and nitro is doing you wrong on your 3 year old top of the line boat.
