I have been dipping snuff for over ten years now and I need to quit. There are multiple reasons for me wanting to quit, and I just don't know where to start. I know I could try the cold turkey method, but I really don't want to just pick it up two days later.

I am open to all suggestions and methods that anyone has tried. I have been on the hunting forum for about a year, and just recently came across this forum. After reading all of the posts on here, I figured this group of people knows exactly what I would be going through.

Well bud, I smoked since middle school well into my early/mid 20s. I started dipping in my later teens up until about 4 months ago. I will be 30 next week. I have tried everything to quit. Nico Gums, Patches, pills, you name it...

I was able to stop smoking only because I was dipping... I have quit both several times before, once for nearly 2 years.

Best advise I can give you is sunflower seeds and big red gum... The seeds can get messy so this last go around I have been using big red and still do 4 months later...

I would avoid the tobacco free dips, they made me crave cope even worse!

Welcome to both the forum and this thread....I also have been using smoke and dip since 7th grade, I am now almost 28....I have been tobacco free for 3 months now....the only way i could quite was with zyban....also I wanted to quit, like my wife, who stills smokes, if you dont want it it doesnt matter what you buy, it will never happen....good luck, just get in the correct mindset, pick a day and be determined

I just quit 4 days ago the candy and sunflower seeds have tore my mouth up worse than the dip ever did, but I'm still going strong not chewing any suflower seeds right now it made my tongue really raw but I will take it over the dip.
