I just got my custom made net from Tim Wade in Florida it is a 7 ft x 3/8 6 panel with 1.5 lb of weight and it cast very good I received it in a week and it cost 111.00 shipped. the net I lost was a 7 ft bait buster that was a really good net but this Tim Wade net is even better to throw.

The 7' nets are for Texas waters, If you are going offshore you can use a larger net. Have to be out past 9 miles

Work amazes me, I can sit and watch it for hours.

My old tournament partner tried that until he got checked at the dock. A wet net is a used net. No way to prove or disprove that you used it past the boundary. Not worth the fine. I'm not throwing a net that far offshore anyway. That's what sabikis are for.

dont know much about the net your talking about but academy had a 7ft radius net for about $39.99 They did not have it in stock when I setled for my 6 ft which is a pos nylon that rips way to easy. I believe the 7 ft was a monofiliment which i prefer. Im gona have to get one soon and turn that pos I have into fishing rod weights.
