Nitro cuts corners and makes garbage. Thats A FACT...AND...BPS is horrible about taking care of customers.
If anyone disagrees, please read the above post.

Sorry to see that man. I would think at some point you would get to the right person if you keep at it. I don't see how a company (a boat company especially) wouldn't do everthing they could to resolve something like this during these economic times. Bad business.

After they reviewed and go back to me, I prepared a letter to tell them how I felt about their offer and what I thought was acceptable. Their response was "This boat has no warranty and the offer made was a gesture of goodwill. We will not change the original offer. Mr. Scogin has until 2-15-11 to accept this offer or all offers will be withdrawn. "
That is standing behind their product!

Even "if" the glass was layed to hot when building the boat it would had to have some sort of impact to break through the gelcoat. Most likely the impact occured months earlier and left stress crack that you may not have been able to see or were under a bunk. After running the boat the pressure from the water works its way between layers of glass and causes a self inflicted delamination.. See it all the time..
Insurance claim in my opinion Maybe the guy you bought it from had hit something and you didnt know about it???

I had looked for about 2 months for boats and did not want to buy a new one as they are way too high. I came upon this boat and it was setup exactly how I wanted, graphs and all. My tournament was the next week, so I had to move on it.

I am glad you posted this. I had been looking very seriously about buying a new Z8 or Z9 in the next few months. After reading this i have now taken them out of the consideration pool.

NOTro on my list of boats to purchase, after seeing this. Sorry you are being done wrong. I would think that it would definitely be worth a few hundred $$ to lawyer up and get to the bottom of this. Also, sending your boat to the classic with the above poster who offered would likely be a good way to get a new one.
