97' 202 Champion...Spanky put in the new carpet and buffed her out head to toe, Nina reworked the seats, and just got a brand spankin new 898 for the console from David @ Shut up and fish! Now just a few more minor tweaks and she will be ready to rock next weekend. I'll put up pics after I make sure it all works! She looks new again. Yaaaahoooooty!

You will love the rough water ride in that boat. I had one and never speared a wave, even on Texoma. Should run like a scalded dog. Mine would gps 74-76 with a 225 Merc.

Oh yea. Too many JR! My wife says one more hobby and she's done. (hmmm, been tryin to think of a way to get rid of her...oops, did I say that out loud????) I've actually owned the boat since brand new, and was just trying to decide whether to get a new one or redo this one. Prices pretty much made the decision for me. Now just deciding on some upgrades like power steering, etc. I'm gettin it tuned up, changing lower unit oil, impeller...standard stuff and should be out on the water next weekend if we don't get another day arctic blast. Great Big Bass report by the way, JR. I hope to come out to your lake this spring and would love to get on the water with you.

Good move you will enjoy the redo. I went and looked at new ones and realized I needed to win the lottery to buy one so I did a redo on mine. Feels like I am in a new boat now! And it is Paid for!
Enjoy cheers
