Hey Z250 Cranker, are you talking about the Live Series h2o baits?how are they compared to the old h20 cranks? They are going to have a series called the live series with the photo finish. But the ones I am talking about are not jointed. They are one piece but look really good and swim great

Does anyone know who makes the blanks for the H2o rods? They have their own made. They are not Shakespeare or any other of the many rumors that always float around on these boards. The factory that builds the rods makes them.

Sounds good ill probly give them a try because of the price. But will most likly stick to kistler's. I dont mind paying a little extra money because Trey Kistler is a great guy and a very friendly christian man who strives to create the best products for his customers.

If they are not made by Americans, you can keep them Academy...

feel free to spend $200 plus on an American made rod if you want to, but lots of companies are making $200 plus rods overseas. For $59 how could you go wrong. I will certainly be buying more when they get to the stores. Plus you know Academy will take care of their customer if anything goes wrong.

That is the whole deal for me right there. With everyone changing their warranties and increasing prices I will buy the 60 dollar rod and if it happens to break I will jsut go get another one. I try to buy American when I can, but it seems most rods are made overseas now and the ones that aren't cost $200 or more.

If you are a betting man I would put money that they are from across the water!!!! China is where the crankbaits are made If they are not made by Americans, you can keep them Academy...
