Cant wait to get out there again and ride around the lake marking spots. Spawn should be good, pre-spawn should be better.

Takes about 10-12 inches of snow to equal one inch of rain. At least it is staying above the 3.4 foot low mark

Snow and Rain Equivalents The ratio of snow to water can vary a great deal depending on the vertical profiles of temperature and moisture, and how they change during a storm. Typically 1 inch of rain is equal to 1 foot of snow, a 12-1 ratio. Depending on the temperature and moisture profiles of the snow growth region of the atmosphere and the origin area of the storm system, that ratio can go higher, say 20-1, which would be 20 inches, or lower, say 6-1 or so. 12-1 is most forecasters starting point, and if you go to your local NWS page and read the area forecast discussion, they usually tell what ratio they believe a system will have as it moves through your area. You guys should all go out west of Graham if you want to see low. Hubbard Creek 10 ft. low, Ivie is 28 ft. low, Twin Buttes is 34 ft. low, Champion is 37 ft low and there are some worse than these. There will be water rationing all over west Texas if they don't get some rain.

Some of the ponds here in western OK are gone. Combination of blame according to some on rigs pulling water and drought. If El Nino predictions are right winters will be colder and summers hotter and dryer for next few years. Something we don't need. The east coast has pretty filled up it's reservoirs over last few years but we are hurting now. I planned a few trips to TX fishing this spring but now I better check with you guys before I head down. A lake I really planned on spending some time on was Ray Roberts. Is this lake hurting for water at the ramps also?
Catching a fish is great. Riding there on your bike just makes it better.

We lose a big chunk of business with on the water gas and boat slips at around 5 1/2ft. Even if it hits that mark and continues to drop we won't complain. During the drought year several years ago we had some incredible fishing and an increase in traffic. I know several guides felt like they were getting more trips since people were not comfortable running the lake.

Raybob is a couple feet low but fishes better IMO when its low ... in 2007 it was close to 15' i think and fishing was good...may be what raybob needs to get out of the funk is some low water for a while IDK

People in the ritzy areas of Dallas have to keep their lawns watered. What is with the people around here using their sprinklers in WINTER????
