I am thinking about getting a Navplanner2 program for my computer. I need to organize, edit, and add waypoints for my HDS units. Has anyone on here had any experience with this product. If so, what are it's positives and negatives.

I recently got Navplanner2. Still trying to figure everything out, but seems to work good with waypoint organizing, editing, and adding waypoints. Have not used the route function. I don't think Navplanner handles tracks.
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

Navplanner 2 is the best $100 you'll ever spend. It has all the HD maps and adding/transferring waypoints is as easy as point and click. It is an awesome product. Just remember that the waypoints are only as good as the maps. The Navionics maps are the best out there, but they still aren't real accurate. They'll get you close, but you'll need to do the rest on the water. Couple this product with Google Earth and you have a real winner. A gpx file from NavPlanner will come directly into Google Earth, so you can see the waypoints you selected in NavPlanner in Google Earth. If the Google Earth imagery is when the lake was low it really helps you visualize what the spot looks like.

Thanks for the reviews. I think I'll pull the trigger on the purchase.
