It is with a heavy heart that I ask this. Today my son's best friend was leaving his house to go coach a makeup Basketball game and was involved in a head collision. He was killed in the wreck, along with two other people. This had been my son's life long friend since 1st grade. They did everything together, mischief and all. These will be trying times for his family. This was their only son and was engaged to be married this summer. He was coaching in Ferris. I coached this young man through school along with my son. He was a true stand up man. He was part of our first District Championship in Track in 2003. Your Prayers are needed for all that were involved in the tragedy. Thanks in advance. You have my deepest sympathy. A similar tragedy happened to us back in August of 2001. A young man that was one of my son't best friends had a party at his house and a young lady spent the night (lots of kids stayed, parents home, no hanky panky). Apparently she had not told her parents she was staying and about 6am her cell went off with pizzed parents on the other line. Craig (my son's buddy) said he would take her home (about 20 mi)and on the way home he fell asleep at the wheel and hit a tree and died instantly. This was the young man that every father wants his son to be. I coached him for 3 years in Little League, he was a Star Athlete, Handsome young man, respectful, never in trouble, and fun loving....Your son's friend's parents are going to go through a rough time for quite some time. Just be there for them.

Sorry to hear of your loss I lost my fishing partner in a car accident last week and also been in the same shoes as your son by losing my best friend almost 11 years ago. It still hurts today !! God Bless you and you family. Prayers sent
