I was told that if you put it in tow/haul mode that the governor doesnt work. Not sure, just what my uncle told me.

may have to by a programmer like the hypertech. Yup, and it will probably void your warranty too.

may have to by a programmer like the hypertech. Yup, and it will probably void your warranty too. 99.9% of the programmers will have a stock function where it saves all of the stock parameters so that prior to taking it in for service you can set it back to stock and pull the programmer and know one knows.

How can I shut the governor off on my truck. Ok, since know one as asked, I will ask the dumb question. Why would you want to shut the governor off?

so it doesn't stop at 85 !!! Hopefully he is going that fast on a race strip and not on a public road.
