Good! Now that we got all this silliness out of the way, let's work on getting together to go do some fishing!

American and Welsh, eh? Most Interesting!

Welcome to the TFF, and i am serious about hooking up to do some fishing!

I think I will have a run at this place Wed, Oct 4 after work. Say about 6pm? I welcome one and all to join me. I will be the guy in the grey carp brigade shirt. I will be targetting buffs and carp with the long rods and gar on the fly. I usually stay until 11pm or later.

If there are cats, gar & carp wouldn't it stand to reason there would be bass?

Cats, Carp, and especially gar are all hardier fish then bass, and survive in conditions bass cannot.

However, that's not the case in this spot lol.

It's the Elm Fork of the Trinity. There are Largemouth Bass everywhere in that river lol.
