Also if you didn't know, TPWD recently named Froylan Hernandez the new Desert Big Horn Sheep Program Leader. Froylan joins us to talk about the history of the desert bighorn in Texas (completely eradicated by the 1960s). There are now over 1,000 animals in the Trans Pecos and TPWD just relocated 40 sheep to Big Bend Ranch State Park. Pretty cool tale of hard work and conservation IMO.
