The only good thing is that it's only about knee deep right there.

3 inches can hold around four to five people in one area no problem.....but i can't imagine a Texas lake with ice that thick; if so i need to keep heading south. I came from Michigan to San Antonio a year ago for the bass fishing and warm weather and now they are prediciting snow tonight?

Don't use the s word very often, but that is stupid. The only good thing, if that is where I think it is, it is only about knee deep.

I drove across that area of the lake earlier and noticed the ice. Didnt see any people out there though but saw a few holes in the ice.

This is the Muddy Creek arm of the lake. North of 66 (Lakeview Parkway), by the small bridge. That area is silted in really bad. Four feet of water with four feet of mud. I bet their mom said, "Don't play on the ice, it's dangerous" before they left the house. Same thing I did growing up, but I had a my jigging pole in my hand for fishing around the tree trunks. Fun times for sure.

This looks like an old picture of that area. We lived on the lake there in the late 70s early 80s...It froze solid then but I agree, Stupid Humans on the loose.
