Found some brand new 2010 Revo sx reels online for 135 including shipping and taxes. Is this a good price?

not as good as prices you can find on the 2009 premier, but yes.
The SX and the STX are the least discounted of the Revo series on ebay/forums.
The 2009 premier at $120-$150 new (all day on ebay) is the best deal going in fishing reels IMO.

what are the differences in the sx ,stx , and premier just curious if the stx is worth the extra money versus sx.

basically the 2010 SX is the older STX with a graphite palming plate (you'd likely never realize a difference vs. alumimum of STX).
The new STX has dual braking and an aluminum palming sideplate. The DB can make a difference, but sometimes not so much.
The old premier is just like the SX with a handle with no bearings (not much difference honestly). It does however have the lightest spool in the revo lineup and therefore casts the best of the older Revos. It also weights 2.5 oz less than the SX or STX which is VERY noticeable. The premier also has better bearings (HPCR, more corrosion resistant) than the SX or STX which have standard stainless steel.
The 2010 premier actually removes one bearing from the levelwind and adds the 4 in the handle to have 3 more than the older premier. It has dual braking and is one of the overall best casters on the market. The handle is now swept with foam knobs instead of rubber.

I bought a Revo SX (new model) and could not stand that reel at all. I tried to dial that reel in for 45 minutes and the back lashes was ridiculous. I don't know enough about the reel to tell you why it was so bad but it just was. I have a Revo S that I would prefer over that reel all day long. I returned that reel and bought the Revo STX. The difference is night and day. I love the Revo STX and as a matter of fact I just bought two more of them. Here is a deal: They are selling the STX here for $169. Now the site shows the 2009 model and I emailed the owner and complained about the fact they stated they are new STX and actually showing 2009 models. Well he is sending me 2010 models at that same price. Not sure if this was a one time thing or something he will do for all orders. Next use this code for 5% off. br012611 Now go to Abu Garcia site or I went to BPS site and printed the Abu Garcia rebate for $25 off. This is what I did and I have two new STX coming that will end up costing me $135/piece. The site I ordered them from is www.americanbassoutlet.com

I bought a 2010 Premier from Amazon about 6 weeks ago. Paid 191.00 no tax and free shipping. I have used it twice at Squaw Creek, I think it is a good reel and that was about $90.00 less that the going price at Cabelas or BPS and you have to pay tax there making it more that $100.00 difference.
