This has been one of the coldest spells I can remember. Just womdering if any things froze over like it did in 1983. Benbrook was several inches thick that year and it stayed for a wile.

Hasn't been cold enough, long enough for anything to freeze over yet, other than very small bodies of water. But if this keeps up they will!!

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting on the water looking like a darn fool.

I remember people on 3-wheelers out in the middle of Lake Worth.

As long as the wind keeps blowin' hard open water shouldn't freeze. Watch out in the coves and on shore though!

I heard there were some sheets out on LW that spanned an acre or more last year too.

last year on eagle mountain the whole north end froze over, me and my bro in law went out and we broke the ice with the boat but sometimes we ended up on top of the ice for a bit, we got to are spot and set up, about every 15 mins we would have to walk out in are waders and break the ice and open up some holes, but once we got back to the ramp we sold the boat the next day due to the ammount of damage to the flatbottom.
