For Fathers Day this year I want to take my dad on a crappie trip @ Palistine. Anyone know a GOOD guide around there? It might not be ON Fathers Day but sometime around there. Let me hear your thoughts and opinions.

He says winter crappie. Haven't talked to him in years, but he is a real nice guy and knows the lake, he has been fishing it for ever.

I have been fishing Lake Palestine and other East Texas Lakes for more than 35 years. I guide for hybrid striped bass, white bass, catfish, and winter crappie. I guide out of a 21 foot Express center console boat that can safely and comfortably accommodate 4 people other than myself. I will furnish all the life jackets, rods, reels and bait or bring your own if you prefer. My goal is for you to have the most fun and productive fishing trip possible. There is a sign at the Lake Palestine marina for another guide. The sign specifically says Crappie. I will ask StevefromTyler and get him to repy, he should know the guides name.

I don't think weeks is running there anymore but I could be wrong. Last I heard he was on Texoma working for Tinkers.
