Just got back from a little lake a few hours below the border. Water was 67 and got topwater action third cast on the spook. Averaged 25 fish a half day, not many biggies -averaged 2-8 and up to 3-8 (on the Lunker Punker) plenty of action. Partner got 'em on TR, Spinners and small swimbaits, mine were mostly all top, netting 1/2 of what he got but I have 10 times more fun getting them that way. Had to leave early, bud was sick, but got a good taste for my first trip down, addicting- don't do it.

Bite me. Seriously....bite me. I'm so cold, I'd not feel it. Just had to saw through 3" of solid ice to get my front door open.

I hate you! It's 16 degrees here right now with a glacier of ice on our road.

I hate that frozen weather. Had to go up to S. Dakota for my dad's final days on earth last year at this time, it was about what you guys are getting now, except for them that's normal! I think they should fire Gore-bore, don't you? Wacko's!

I don't have a file to put those kind of facts in, mind blowing. Like after 9-11, where do you file those kind of happenings?

Good luck guys, guess you appreciate warmer weather all the more huh?

I'm just glad to know there is a sane person left in CA! j/k-I figured it had to be a few of you left. Congrats on the catch.
