I heard both.... I personally have not fished it. search the crappie forum for ray hubbard, and you should see the recent post.
good luck fishing....

Been a good steady bite for the last solid week, I've caught em on jigs, anything that looks like shad. Normally blue chart hand tieds are my go to on hubbard, but all they want is shad right now. Was out today and its slowed down considerably from yesterday and last week. Minners still caught fish, and they've been pretty solid keepers w about 3 throwbacks per keeper. There was a lot of debate and talk about em hitting rosie reds last week, but the bite was on then and let's face it...when its on they'll eat what u put in front of em so fish w what your confident in. Fin-s shads in white, bobby garlands in monkey milk, and anything else looking like a shad has been getting bit. I saw a guy yesterday just wearing em out on regular minnows.. Find the brush under that bridge and you'll catch em

Like you told me one time Crappie Hook, "stay natural on Hubbard bud". That single tip has improved my success there ten fold.

You also said it can be tough as a boot on Hubbard - very true too!

Don't forget the I-30 Bridge by BPS sometimes it pretty good as well.. both bridges will be hard to fish if there very much wind though..I havn't done that well at the 66 bridge..the water is much shallower there less than 20 along most of the bridge..
