You will enjoy Joe Pool a lot better now that the 360 area is developing south. The feeder creeks into Joe Pool are bringing more water in than ever, and the higher the water level, the better the fishing.
The feeder creeks at 360 and 661 are now actually going to have crappie runs this year.

I use to fish Joe Pool all the time when it first opened up. I use to launch out of Britton Park. Stayed away for 10 years and tried to fish it again. I could not find the park entrance for nothing. All those new homes in the area had me thrown off. I had to ask a local how to find it.

Nice catch. I have never fished Joe Pool, but beginning this spring it will be my home lake due to a recent move. Good luck to ya hope to see you on the lake.

If you go down by Britton Park now, they are building a new Mansfield High School that is going to make the roads around there a nightmare on school days.
