...and taking names at Lake Lewisville. Actually it was the adjacent pond located at the intersection of Highland Village and the I-35 service road. Starless Dragon would know the name of it. I caught two 1 pound largemouths in about 5 minutes time about 15 minutes shy of sundown. The two 1 pounders where the first for me since the first of the year so was happy with them. The Kinami "Nories Bug" in case you aren't familiar with it, is one of the (relatively) new "Creature" or "Freak" soft plastic baits to come along in the last couple of years. See web links below. I used the Black/Gold color with a red 3/0 wide gap hook and 1/4 oz. brass bullet weight. These baits (according to Bassmaster magazine) are some of the hottest new baits out there. The name "Creature" or "Freak" is a name I picked up from Bassmaster magazine. They (the baits) look nothing like any thing from Planet Earth. They are basically a combination of crawdad, worm, salimander, octopus, LOL. In short, they look Alien. Their shape and wide array of appendages and tenticles allow for a nice slow descent and good fluttering action. Last summer, I used a Yamamoto "Kreature" at Lake Grapevine with much success. I used the Black with red fleck on the same rig I mentioned above. I'm starting to sound like an ad in the Bass Pro Catalog so I'll shut up now. Try these baits if you have the chance. http://www.kinamibaits.com/nories.html http://www.yamamoto.baits.com/cgi-bin/order/5-07

Bass_Lady_In_Plano:
I've just been fishing it as one would use a plastic worm. I forgot to mention above that it Texas Rigged.
