We went to t wok this weekend and tried out our luck. The lake is pretty new to the both of us and we figured that we needed to get out there and check it out being that we have two tourneys out there coming up. Saturday was not a good day for us. Started out with mechanical problems after a hour or so got that fixed then we were off to find some bait and found plenty of it but just not anything of size and same went for our cats. 7 lb goin the biggest. but we caught plenty of 4-5 lbs. Sunday we went out to find the big ones and tried some differant tactics. We headed to skinny water, about 3ft was the ticket next to some timber. Started out with some nice eaters then the scotts pb breaking 46lb cat hit hard and was meaning business. Not long after we got her into the boat i finally broke my small fish curse with a 43lb kitty and my new pb. caught a couple teenagers and had one more monster snap 80lb braid. He didnt feel as big as the last ones but as soon as we got him to the boat he high tailed it out of there and ended up breaking off. The weekend started out crappy but ended out great.
